In one month from today, on January 11th 2014 I will arrive back in London. My journey is nearing its conclusion. Leg 4 ends at Christmas and Leg 5 is the quick drive from Istanbul to London.
So it seems like a good time to celebrate the scenic views of the places I’ve seen so far on this amazing journey.
From April to August 2013 I travelled from London to Singapore, visiting 19 countries on the outward journey of my expedition East.
The following film is a lighthearted way to enjoy a little piece of the beautiful and changing landscapes I’ve encountered along the way.
Once again it’s great work from Joby Newson (@jnewson) to create this short film. The kid is a genius!!
The Welcome Home Celebration
I will be arriving back at the Royal Geographical Society (near South Kensington) between 12-12.30pm on Saturday 11th January 2014.
There will be time for a few photo’s, some filming and even a little dancing before we adjourn to the pub to celebrate. It would be great to see you all. Keep it free and I’ll be in touch with more details.
p.s don’t let the fact that I haven’t be able to drive Boris for nearly 3 weeks deter you from coming. Boris, Kiwi Ted and I will be there on time. I guarantee it!!
